Attention foodies! We’re turing Sandy Basin Community Center Complex into one big Father’s Day hangout.
Get your grub on with 6 local food trucks, including 2 brand-new-to-Irwin mobile restaurants. Open to the public. We’re offering our residents a ticket good for 1 complimentary meal of your choice (drink not included). Seating is on the sprawling grassy areas surrounding the complex so be sure to bring a blanket, lawn chair, and your own lawn games and activities, picnic style! Don’t have games? Rents some from Outdoor Recreation.
Additional offerings include live music by DJRAY in the Courtyard (limited table seating), free vendor samples, Sam Adam’s Bar (beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks), and full food menus for those picky eaters. Plus free swag and samples from Coke, Pepsi, Bang, Frito Lay, and Coors.
Walking to the event is highly recommended as our back parking lot will be blocked off. Parking will be on Goldstone and Pork Chop Hill in the CYS/MWR back parking lot and ballfield parking lot, just a block away. Please DO NOT park on any street side with “no parking”.
