SIDEWALK CHALK ART CONTEST
Create colorful and fun chalk art drawings using a variety of techniques. Check out some ideas HERE and HERE.
RULES: Artists must choose a concrete area at the Sandy Basin Community Center. Chalk and stencils are available in the Leasing Office prior to contest time and will be available on contest day.
PRIZES: Top 25% of entrants will win gift card for more art supplies!
ART MURAL
We’re “Growing Tomorrow’s Artists Today” in our Community Art Garden!
RULES: Artists will place their artwork in the center of the flowers adorning the community center wall. 12” round white paper disks will be available for artists to create on the spot. ACRYLIC PAINTING STATIONS
Create fun and unique river rocks to decorate your garden with or decorate your own 4” or 6” plastic flower pot with your choice of seeds to take home! Artists may also bring their own rocks or flowerpots to be painted. All supplies provided.
SUGAR ART
Take home your very own sugar cookie painted by you! Cookies come with linework, all you need to do fill in your coloring.
MESS-FREE COLORING STATION
Got a toddler who gets more on the table than the paper? Let them draw like the big kids using Crayola’s mess-free “markers” and paper.
